“Soulville”という名に相応しい古めかしくもアコースティカルなソリッドサウンド。
ヴィンテージビザールな見た目ながらも独自なサウンドとしてソリッドボディながらもホローボディギターに近いサウンドを求め開発。ボディ材にスプルース系であるヘムロック材を使用する事で基本となるサウンドはアコースティカルであり、ヴィンテージのショートスケールかつ極太ネックではなくLPスケール、他モデルと同様のKING SNAKEネックシェイプ、ウッドサドル&テイルピースでありプレイアビリティにおいて緩めのテンション感であり弾きやすく、ソリッドらしからぬサウンドの緩さを持つ。その生音を独自開発のピックアップによりクリーン時では小ぶりなアーチトップ系なサウンド、ドライブ時はイナたいブルースサウンドとなっている。
そして重量も2kg台と言う軽量さ。Soulville名は歪んだ時のサウンドイメージであるテナーサックスの巨匠ベンウェブスターの名盤から。
"Soulville" was developed to have a unique sound similar to that of a hollow body guitar, despite its vintage, visually appealing appearance.The body is made of hemlock, a type of spruce, and the basic sound is acoustic, with LP scale instead of the vintage short scale and extra thick neck, KING SNAKE neck shape, wood saddle and tailpiece as in other models, and loose tension for playability.The originally developed pickups produce an archtop sound in the clean set and an inert blues sound in the drive set.
It is also lightweight, weighing in the 2kg range.

ヴァルカンファイバーボビンにスティールポールピースを組み合わせたシングルコイル構造。
マグネットワイヤーにはAWG43SPNを使用。直流抵抗値は9.8～10.0KΩ。
フェライトバー・マグネットをコイル側面に配置し、通常のシングルコイルより幅広い磁界を形成してハムバッカー的なアタックとエアー感を作り出している。ニッケルメッキが施されたブラス製カバー、アルミニウム製ベースプレート、ゴールドフォイル・トッププレートはノイズシールド効果を発揮するだけではなく、トーンキャラクターを形成する上でも重要なファクターとなっている。

AWG43SPN is used for magnet wire. DC resistance is 9.8 to 10.0 KΩ.
Ferrite bar magnets are placed on the sides of the coil to form a wider magnetic field than a normal single coil, creating a humbucker-like attack and airiness. The nickel-plated brass cover, aluminum base plate, and gold foil top plate not only provide noise shielding but are also important factors in shaping the tone character.
独自の極薄ニトロセルロース・ラッカー仕上げ
木部下地の目止め無く極薄ニトロセルロース・ラッカー・フィニッシュすることでKING SNAKEらしいワイルドな仕上がりとなっている。通常のラッカー塗装の塗膜厚よりも薄いためにさらにセレクトされたボディ、ネックの持つ「木の鳴り」をダイレクトに響かせ、見た目もワイルドかつ独自の質感を与えている。
The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish is applied to the body and neck of the guitar without the need to seal the wood base. Because it is thinner than a normal lacquer finish, the body and neck of the guitar are selected to directly resonate with the sound of the wood, giving it a wild and unique look and feel.
「 ソリッドボディモデルながら、2.5kg台という軽量化の実現」
ソリッドボディ・モデルながらもボディ厚を37mmと薄くすることでアコースティカルなトーンの獲得とと約2.5~2.6kg台と言う「超軽量」を実現。この軽量さが相応しい独自の「鳴り」を実現し、プレイに於いてのストレスフルさは魅力であろう。*Solid Bodyのため個体差は有。
